POLICE MAKE ARRESTS AT KANSAS CITY SOBRIETY CHECKPOINT

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kansas City Police madefour arrests for driving under the influence at a sobriety checkpoint that began late Friday night.

Two fugitives also were arrested.

Among 194 cars stopped at N.E. 46th St. and N. Oak Trafficway between 11 p.m. Friday and 4 a.m. Saturday, police found four drivers with suspended or revoked licenses.

Other citations included one for careless driving, one for hindering anofficer, and two traffic violations(This story was posted at www.kansascity.com).
