Amber Alert issued for missing 3-year-old Excelsior Springs girl

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS, Mo. —An Amber Alert has been issued in connection with the disappearance and possible abduction of a 3-year-old girl in Excelsior Springs, Mo.

Police said shortly before 4 p.m. a woman stopped at a house on Persimmon Drive where a 3-year-old was being watched. The woman asked to use the bathroom, police said.

After using the bathroom, the woman left the house at the residents inside could not find the 3-year-old.

Police said the woman was driving a silver Dodge Charger with Nebraska plates.

Police said the 3-year-old’s name is Ramy, and that there have been custody issues in the past with the family.
