One person dies in crash in Kansas City, Kan.

KANSAS CITY, Kan. – One person died early Friday morning after being ejected during a crash in Kansas City, Kan.

Police responded to reports of an injury crash about 1:20 a.m. in the 5900 block of Swartz Road.

Upon arrival,police found thebody of a person who had beenejectedfrom a vehicle.

Police said that results from the preliminary investigation indicates that thedriver of the vehicle lost control while traveling north on 59th Street from Swartz Road.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

Police were not releasing the identity of the victim until a positive identification could be made and family notified. (This story was posted at www.kansascity.com.)
