The 2nd Amendment of the Constitution gives American citizens the right to bear arms. This however, does not guarantee that all firearm owners will be responsible. Every year lives are lost because a gun owner does not take proper care of their weapon. Whether it gets into the hands of a small child or the wrong hands, gun accidents occur far too frequently. In 2015 at least 265 children either accidentally shot someone else or themselves. This number is way too high and can be reduced if proper safety measures are followed.
Negligent gun owners must be held responsible if people are injured because of an accidental shooting or a firearm being used improperly. At Sanders.Law our goal is to protect people against negligence and ensure proper compensation is brought to those that are victimized by negligence. If you, a friend, or family member have been harmed in an accidental shooting you need to contact an attorney. Our firm will seek justice and hold accountable those responsible.
