Nicholas J. Zevenbergen
Kansas City Attorney
In 1999, while still in high school, Nicholas J. Zevenbergen (“Nick”) joined the United States Navy because he wanted to serve his community and make the world a safe place. Unfortunately, due to a medical condition, Nick was untimely discharged from the Navy during bootcamp. Shortly after being discharged, Nick began studies at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa. In 2005, Nick graduated from Dordt College with a bachelor’s degree in history. Before graduating, Nick made the decision to attend law school because he believed the law to be a career which would afford him the same opportunity as the Navy, that is to serve his community and make the world a safer place. In 2006, Nick began studies at the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Law. Nick graduated in 2009 and subsequently passed the Missouri bar exam.
Nick strives to serve his community and make it a better place by holding wrongdoers accountable for their actions. When you hire Nick, you can rest assured that he is committed to zealously advocating your cause.
When not holding wrongdoers accountable, Nick spends time with his wife Heidi and his three young children: Elliott, Madelyn, and Amelie. He enjoys watching his children at gymnastics and dance and going on vacations with his family. Nick also enjoys computer programming, weight lifting, running, and playing guitar.
